Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Time Ledger. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If these terms conflict with mandatory law or Apple’s Standard EULA, the mandatory rule or applicable Apple term controls.

2. The service

Time Ledger is a personal productivity tool for recording activities, reviewing time, setting goals, running focus sessions, exporting records, and optionally using Apple Calendar or private iCloud sync.

No Time Ledger account is required in this version. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for protecting your device, Apple account, backups, exported files, and any external calendars you connect.

3. License and acceptable use

Your license to use Time Ledger is limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and governed by Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable law.

You may not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt Apple or app services, circumvent purchase or entitlement controls, distribute harmful content through support channels, or use the app in violation of law or another person’s rights.

4. Local data, iCloud, and Calendar

Your records are stored on your device by default. Optional iCloud Sync uses the private CloudKit database for the Apple ID on your device. Optional Apple Calendar output writes selected activity names and start/end times to a calendar you choose.

Apple services, Calendar account providers, internet access, storage, permissions, and device settings are outside our control and may affect availability. You are responsible for maintaining suitable backups and reviewing any sync or Calendar changes before confirming them.

Turning off a feature, deleting local time data, or deleting the app may not remove exported files, Calendar events, iCloud records, device backups, or other external copies. See the Privacy Policy for the exact current deletion boundary.

5. Time Ledger Pro

Time Ledger Pro may be offered through Apple as:

• a monthly auto-renewable subscription;
• a yearly auto-renewable subscription; or
• a one-time lifetime, non-consumable purchase.

The App Store presents the current price, billing period, currency, taxes, and any eligible offer before you confirm. We do not guarantee that a particular product, price, discount, or introductory offer will always be available.

Subscriptions

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled in accordance with Apple’s subscription terms, generally at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription from the Time Ledger Pro screen or your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect according to Apple’s rules and normally does not revoke access already paid for during the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Lifetime purchase

The lifetime option is a non-consumable purchase for the supported Pro features in this app while the app remains available and compatible. It is not a promise that every future feature, service, platform, or separately offered product will be included forever.

Restore, refunds, and entitlement

Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Access depends on a verified StoreKit entitlement and may change after expiration, revocation, refund, account change, or StoreKit verification failure.

Apple processes payments and refund requests. Refund eligibility is governed by Apple’s terms and applicable law. You can request review through reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Availability and changes

We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features to improve reliability, comply with law, respond to Apple platform changes, or protect users. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of StoreKit, iCloud, Calendar providers, App Store services, or every feature on every device or OS version.

Material changes to these terms will be published with a revised effective date. Your continued use after a change is subject to applicable notice and consent requirements.

7. No professional advice

Time Ledger provides personal productivity information only. It is not medical, legal, financial, employment, payroll, accounting, or tax advice, and it is not a certified timekeeping or billing system. Verify any record before relying on it for a professional, contractual, or legal purpose.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties not required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, opportunities, or data; or failures caused by devices, Apple services, Calendar providers, networks, backups, or third-party systems. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict use where reasonably necessary to address misuse, fraud, security, law, or Apple requirements. Pro billing continues until canceled through Apple; removing the app does not itself cancel a subscription.
