Time Ledger Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Time Ledger handles information in the current version of the app. The current version is local-only, does not require a Time Ledger account, and does not include paid purchases, subscriptions, third-party analytics, third-party crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Current Version
Time Ledger is a personal time tracking app. The current version of Time Ledger is a local-only app and does not require a Time Ledger account.
In this version:
- Your time tracking data is stored on your device.
- Time Ledger does not operate account sync in this build.
- Time Ledger does not provide iCloud Sync in this build.
- Time Ledger does not provide iCloud-to-Time Ledger account import in this build.
- Time Ledger does not provide paid purchases, subscriptions, StoreKit checkout, or paid entitlement in this build.
- Time Ledger does not include third-party crash reporting or analytics SDKs in this build.
- Time Ledger does not include advertising SDKs or third-party tracking SDKs in this build.
- Time Ledger does not sell your personal data.
Future versions may add account sync, iCloud Sync, import, diagnostics, paid subscriptions, or other online features. If those features are released, this policy will be updated before those features are made available.
Information You Create in the App
Time Ledger lets you create and manage time tracking information, such as:
- activities and life areas;
- time entries;
- goals;
- focus or timer sessions;
- app settings;
- notes or labels you choose to enter;
- exported files you choose to create.
In the current local-only version, this app data is stored on your device. Time Ledger does not receive this app data unless you choose to send it to us, for example by emailing support with screenshots, exported files, logs, or written feedback.
No Account Required
The current version does not require you to create or sign in to a Time Ledger account. Because account sync is not enabled in this build, Time Ledger does not collect account email, password, server-side user ID, account sync records, or account deletion requests through the app.
No iCloud Sync or Account Import in This Version
The current version does not enable iCloud Sync, CloudKit writes, Time Ledger Account Sync, or iCloud-to-account import.
If these features are added in a future version, the app and this policy will clearly explain what data is stored in Apple iCloud, what data is sent to Time Ledger servers, and how deletion and export work for those data paths.
No Purchases or Subscriptions in This Version
The current version does not include paid purchases, auto-renewable subscriptions, StoreKit checkout, paid entitlement, or paid account features.
If paid features are added in a future version, the app will explain the available products, prices, subscription terms, restore purchase path, and entitlement behavior before users can purchase.
Exported Files
Time Ledger may let you export your data for backup, review, or portability.
Exported files are controlled by you. If you save, share, email, or upload an exported file outside Time Ledger, that copy is not automatically deleted when you delete data inside Time Ledger.
Support Emails and Feedback
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as:
- your email address;
- your message;
- screenshots or screen recordings you attach;
- exported files or diagnostic details you choose to provide;
- device and app context you include in the message.
We use support information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the app, and maintain safety and reliability.
Please do not send passwords, payment details, private tokens, or other sensitive information in support emails.
Diagnostics, Crash Reports, and Analytics
The current version of Time Ledger does not include third-party crash reporting or analytics SDKs.
Apple may provide crash reports, TestFlight feedback, App Store diagnostics, or App Store Connect information according to Apple's own settings and policies. Those Apple-provided systems are controlled by Apple.
Advertising and Tracking
The current version does not include advertising SDKs or third-party tracking SDKs. Time Ledger does not use your time tracking data for targeted advertising.
Local Data Deletion
The current version supports local device deletion.
Deleting local data removes Time Ledger data stored in the app on the current device. It does not automatically delete:
- files you exported or shared outside the app;
- backups controlled by iOS, iCloud Backup, Finder, or other device backup tools;
- emails, screenshots, or files you sent to support;
- future account data or iCloud data, because those features are not enabled in this build.
If you delete the app from your device, iOS may remove the app's local data according to Apple's operating system behavior. Device backups and files you saved elsewhere may still remain outside Time Ledger.
Data Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, delete the app, reset the device, or otherwise remove it through iOS.
Support emails and related attachments may be retained as needed to respond to your request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Children
Time Ledger is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information we receive. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, device backups, exported files, and any files you choose to share.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and make the new policy available at https://orbitns2026.online/time-ledger/privacy.
